There are several National Trust properties and Historic houses within easy reach including our own Sulgrave Manor, the birthplace of George Washington’s ancestors. The village has a shop/post office (2 mins walk), which can be available for cash withdrawals (otherwise nearest cash machine is 7 miles) a church and the Star Inn (5 mins walk), a country style Public House with fine ale and an excellent restaurant. There are also many very good ‘eating’ houses to be found in nearby villages and towns.
